The Notification Settings consist of five sections:

Push

This section manages push notifications.

• Types of Notifications:
  • General and General Marketing: Includes questions and promotional content.
  • Upcoming Bills: Notifications for due dates in the next 3 days, aligning with the tracking method that turns bills orange and red as due dates approach.
  • Upcoming Paydays: Notifications to remind you to check your budget for maximum accuracy as payday approaches.

Opt-Out:

• If you opt out of General notifications, you won’t receive any questions.

In-App

This section manages notifications received within the app.

• Current Status: Only free users receive In-App notifications.
• Future Updates: More updates will be coming.

Email

• Current Status: No Email notifications are available at the moment.
• Future Updates: You will be notified when Email notifications become available.

Text

• Current Status: No Text notifications are available at the moment.
• Future Updates: You will be notified when Text notifications become available.

Accountability

The primary purpose of notifications is to serve as a tool for accountability.

• Goal: BetterBudgets aims to use notifications to keep you on track so that you can achieve your financial goals.
